Drainage System Planner

Which drainage product route should you review?

Enter the installation position and project type to organise the right product-selection route before requesting materials. The tool does not guess pipe diameter and does not replace hydraulic design.

Planning inputs
Used only to flag stack and ventilation review — not to size the pipe.
Recorded as a project constraint. It is not automatically treated as a correct hydraulic size.
Not a sizing calculator: pipe diameter, gradient, hydraulic capacity, ventilation and final layout must be checked against the applicable standard, actual appliances/flows and project requirements.

Technical framework

Why does the tool not automatically choose 50, 75 or 110 mm?

A reliable drainage diameter cannot be selected from one fact such as “it is a bathroom” or “the building has two floors”. For internal gravity systems, the CYS EN 12056 series covers requirements, layout and calculation. Systems outside buildings use a different framework such as CYS EN 752. Final selection must reflect the real layout, appliances/flows, ventilation, gradients, cleaning access and project conditions.

For thermoplastics installed within or below the building structure, the specific product must also be suitable for that application and the correct installation practice must be followed.

Standards sources: Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation — CYS EN 12056-2, CYS EN 752:2017 and the related thermoplastics installation guidance. This tool uses those references only to identify which engineering checks are required; it does not reproduce protected sizing tables.
